What if - Female Noble Six:2-2

       Six struggled to her hands and knees and waited for the waves of nausea to subside before she arose to her feet.

       "Noble five. Do you read, over."

       Static.
       Dang! Must be the shock of the explosion that was messing up the COM link.

       Six observed her surroundings. The terrain around her was a barren wasteland; black charred ground and broken hills littered with burning corpses, lone dead trees that were either fallen or in the process of collapsing were located in various parts of her vision, and in the dead mountains on the horizon, she could see the scrapyard remnants of the mother ship that they had destroyed.

       Six limped over to a dead marines body and spotted a gun. It was only a pistol, but any weapon was better than none. She took it.

       Good. It still had enough active ammo in it.

       She limped away from the body, gun in hand, and began her search for signs of life.

      The noble team made their way throught the building. Kat had been trying to contact them ever since the explosion, but had little success. She was started to feel guilty for making them go up there in the first place.

       Carter put his hand reassurringly on her shoulder. That made her feel a little bit better, though she knew he was starting to doubt if they were alive as well.

       Emile sharpened his knife on his shoulder plating, trying to not let anyone know that he was anxious about his friends whereabouts.

       Jun just stared into space.

       They were all worried.

       Jorge groaned while rubbing the back of his neck. His head seemed to feel thick and his arms dangled, making him aware that he was upsidedown. As twigs and branches poked into his sides, it occurred to him that she had landed in a big tree and was wedged in between two large branches.

       Wow. Tough tree.

       But he didn't care at the moment. All he cared about was that he had survived the landing.
       But where was noble six?

       Something shuffled under him.

      Noble five looked up... er... down at the ground that he hung above, and saw noble six passing under him, a pistol in her hand.

      "Six!"

      She continued walking past him. Dang! She didn't hear him. COM must be momentarily damaged. Jorge tried to shake himself free, but was wedged in quite deep. So to get her attantion, he pulled off his helmet and dropped it onto her head.

       *bonk*

       "Ow! Hey!" she looked up and Jorge waved at her. Six put her hands on her hips and chuckled lightly, "What you doing up there noble?"

       Noble five shrugged. "Enjoying the veiw... upsidedown." he became serious again, "Look, could you please help me down?"

       Six shook her head before putting her weapon away and walking towards her stuck comrade. "Hold out your hands."

       Noble five held his hands above his head and Six tugged on them. Nothing happened at first, but when she tugged again, the whole tree fell on top of them with Jorge still stuck inside it.

       "Well..." Jorge said as Noble six struggled to push the weight of both him and the tree off of her, "...at least I'm on te ground now."

       Six tried to pull him out again, but with little success. "I can't get you out. You're wedged in there way too deep."

       Noble five nodded in understandment and scanned his surroundings. He saw a city in the distance and turned back to Noble Six. "Leave me here. and head towards the city over there. I'll get myself out eventually and it looks like the people there could use your help."

       Six tilted her head. "Are you sure?"

       "Yes. I'm quite sure. Now go... gogogo." Jorge waved his hands at six to go away. She looked at him for a moment before turning to wlak towards the city.

       "Be careful." Jorge said, but wasn't sure if Six heard him or not. Then, he went back to trying to get out of his "knotty"situation.
