What if - Female Noble Six : 1

What if, somehow, the noble team didn't die in "Halo Reach"? What if something occurred that stopped the deaths in their paths?
This is a fanfiction on how I would change the stroy line so that everyone would survive.

~Halo Reach (Female noble six)

       Six saw the elite aiming his rifle at the slipspace drive on the pelican. She shot his arm with her pistol, and the weapon flew out of it's grasp. The elite roared in pain and glared at her. It pulled out a plasma grenade with it's good arm, and activated it. Right as soon as it was getting ready to throw it at Noble six, a spray of ammunition shot through it's head causing purple blood to splatter everywhere. The grenade plopped onto a grunt that stood behind it, and it ran screaming towards it's comrades. The whole group exploded in a flouresence of blue.

       Noble six gave Noble five, Jorge, a thumbs up for his assist and he nodded.

       After the battle, all of the marines on the ship had died along with the covenant that had ambushed them. Six met Jorge, who was examining the slipspace drive, by the the pelican. He cursed under his breath and punched the hull of the pelican in frustration.

       "So... it's going to be like that, is it?" Noble five said to himself. He turned to the puzzled Six who stood by, waiting patiently by the ammunition crates. "Well, I got good news and bad news." he said, "The birds taken alot of hits, which means that the only way off this bird... is gravity."

       "And the good news?" Six asked.

[THIS IS WHERE I CHANGE THE STORYLINE]

       "Well..." Jorge replied while rubbing the back of his head, "The good news is that the slip-space drive is still intact, which means we'll still have more than enough time to retreat before the blast."

       "Then what are we waiting for?" Six said, making Jorge a little surprised, "Sky diving can't be that bad, can it?"

       Jorge chuckled. "More like orbit diving if ya ask me..."

       Six grabbed Jorges arm and pulled him through the force field with her. As soon as they started plummeting to the planet's surface, Jorge could hear a loud boom coming from the ship.

       "No... NO! It's too early!"

       The ship burst into a firey blue haze as the slip space drive malfunctioned. A chain reaction happened within the covenant mother ship that it lay beneath, and it too burst into a fury of blue plasmetic flames. Jorge quickly wrapped his arm around Noble Six's waist as they plummeted to the planets surface.

       The shockwaves hit, and all went white.

        The rest of the Noble team saw the blast and stared in awe at the colorful damage they had caused.

       "Noble five. Noble six. Do you read? Over."

       No reply. Only static.

       Carter looked at noble two, and she shook her head. "Com system is out of range. Don't worry. I'm sure they'll still meet back up with us soon."

       "If they're still alive you mean." Emile replied solemnly.

         Kat glared at Noble four, though she knew there was a possibility they weren't.

        At first, she wondered if she was dead; her senses were dulled, her tongue thick and covered with the taste of blood. But then pain surged down her spine and she was aware that she was still alive. She tried to move but was very weak.

       Jorge. Where was Jorge? Wher was noble five?
